Yarn with History

Founded in 1948 in São Bento do Sul/SC, Fiação São Bento is one of the most traditional mills in the sector. With 45,000 m² of built area across three independent units, the company maintains robust lines of production, finishing, warehousing and shipping, with an annual capacity of more than 15,000 tonnes of yarn, serving weaving and knitting mills in several Brazilian states.

Management with Scalability

Since 1998, Fiação São Bento has operated with the Operacional SGT, initially adopted to integrate the areas of logistics, commercial, orders, costs, planning, production, maintenance and billing. The system consolidated reliable, coordinated management focused on full control of the operation.

With the recent upgrade to version v500, the company incorporated new capabilities and modernized its management architecture. The gains include improvements in production planning, monthly closing, order entry and picking, purchasing management, managerial cost analysis (including for S&OP) and integration with machines and laboratory equipment, raising productivity and the accuracy of decisions.

Consulting with an Industrial Base

The upgrade was carried out with direct support from Specialized Operacional Consulting, which assessed the existing operating flows, mapped critical points and structured uncontrolled processes, ensuring full use of the SGT v500 resources. This work was fundamental to align the modernization of the system with the real demands of the plant.
