Since the year 2000, Costa Rica Knitwear has been consolidating itself as a national reference in manufacture of cotton yarn and sale of knitwear in rolls, in addition to working with tailoring and dyeing for third parties. With headquarters and distribution center in Cambé/PR, and manufacturing units in Nova Trento and Canelinha/SC, the company is present at more than 22 Brazilian states, with a sturdy structure of 46 own stores for distribution.
With a fully vertical operation, Costa Rica unites spinning, circular knitting, dyeing and finishing in a continuous and efficient production flow. In search of greater control and integration, the company implemented the Operacional SGT, system responsible for managing since Order entry until billing, also integrating the areas of supplies and costs.
With the SGT, the company obtained consistent gains in agility, productive synchronism, and data-based decision-making, in addition to increasing the alignment between the commercial and the factory floor.
The partnership with Operacional included the work of Specialized Consulting, who worked directly at structuring of industrial and administrative processes, evaluating the company's maturity and promoting the systematization of previously uncontrolled practices. This action was decisive in preparing Costa Rica for its expansion projects, supporting growth based on efficient management, resource control and applied technology.
“We are one of the most competitive companies in the Brazilian market in our segment, the result of the best resources in our manufacturing park, such as cutting-edge technology, qualified professionals, raw materials from the best suppliers and the efficient management provided by the SGT. Thus, we improve our processes every day, always aiming at the best market cost and maintaining concern for the environment, to use less resources such as water and energy. A company that is growing by leaps and bounds, with audacious projects, and that seeks excellence to be, if not the largest, the best textile company in Brazil.”
